Privacy policy

Short version: the tools run in your browser, your files stay on your device, and there are no accounts.

Your scripts and files

Scripts you type or paste, and any audio you upload to measure your pace, are processed entirely in your browser. They are not sent to our servers or anyone else's.

Saved scripts and settings are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. We can't see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and you can delete any script yourself with the Delete button in the tool.

Feedback you send

If you use a feedback form, we receive what you write and which options you tick. An email address is optional. If you give one, we use it only to reply to you or to tell you about early access to new features, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Camera, microphone and recordings

If you use the recorder in Script Clock, your browser asks for permission first. Video and audio are recorded and processed entirely in your browser. Takes are kept in your browser's storage on your device so they survive a refresh, until you delete them. They are never uploaded to us.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't build a profile of you. We don't sell data.

Error reports

If a page hits a technical error, it sends us the error message, the page address and your browser type, so we can fix it. It never includes your scripts, recordings or anything you type.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.

Advertising

The site doesn't show ads right now. If that changes, this policy will be updated first to explain which ad partners are used and how they use cookies.
